Only a DEA – a domestic energy assessor, is qualified to carry a full, valid Domestic EPC or energy performance certificate. All domestic energy assessors at 1st EPC have been trained to the highest possible standard and have all the necessary skills required for performing a full inspection before providing the customer with an accurate, in-depth EPC and recommendation report on how to improve the grade your property has attained.

Only a NDEA – a Non – domestic energy assessor, is qualified to carry out valid Commercial EPC or energy performance certificate. All Commercial energy assessors at 1st EPC have been have again been trained to the same standard as the DEA if not higher but are able to carry out and EPC on commercial Buildings rather than Domestic.

With an EPC, properties are rated by the domestic/Commercial energy assessor on a scale of A to G – a grade of A is being the highest, and a grade G the lowest.
